External Apps (LTI) in Canvas

External apps add functionality to a Canvas course creating additional learning experiences for students. Teachers can add these apps to modules, course navigation, content editor, and assignments.

Available Apps

The following apps are available in each course according to the school/department level. Most apps can be accessed from within the rich content editor.

Configure External Apps

Some apps require special configuration by the teacher.

• Log into Canvas at http://wcpss.instructure.com.
• Navigate to a course where you are teacher.
• Click Settings > Apps.
• Click the desired app to configure.
• Follow the directions listed on the app page.
